The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo recently met with the Class of 2015 Senior Fellows of NLI (SFNLI) at the Presidency, Aso Villa, Abuja. The delegation availed the opportunity to apprise Vice President Osinbajo of the plans of the SFNLIs to undertake a national project that will address the issues of post-conflict reconstruction and development in north eastern Nigeria. Recognizing the reconstruction and development challenges in the Northeast and in consideration of other ongoing national and international efforts, the SFNLIs informed Vice President Osinbajo that the project is aimed at complementing the plans and interventions of the Federal Government of Nigeria. While welcoming and commending the patriotic contributions of NLI's accomplished leaders, the Vice President availed the occasion to share the Federal Government's plan to rebuild the Northeast as well as potential area of intervention by the SFNLIs.
