StandUP Naija Lyrics http://nli-global.org/standup-naija-theme-song-lyrics/ http://nli-global.org/standup-naija-theme-song-lyrics/#comments Sat, 28 May 2011 00:07:33 +0000 http://nli-global.org/?p=1564 Intro:
Classic… Classic….. This is for my people oh oh oh oh (5x)

Chorus:

Sometimes we rise, sometimes we fall,
Sometimes we slide, sometimes we crawl
But through it all, we dey carry dey go ooooo (Stand up Naija)
Cos we are the best
Na we dey carry first
Cos we are the future – Yes we can!

Raise your fist if you believe it … (Stand up Naija) (2x)

First Verse:

We are the beacons of hope, we are the light to be shown
We are the future and it’s our time to be known
Sometimes we win some, a times we lose all
But through it all, we’re truly Naija
I beat my chest, that I am truly Naija
We don’t fall down, just to stay down
When we fall down, we get up and shout
Three basic things that limit a man
Three major things you must understand; Character, Worth, the Ground where you stand
The knowledge in your mind, the tool in your hand
Information differentiates the foolish from the wise
What you know is what you are, no more lies
That is why I go through life like a motion picture, the good, the bad, full description, high low, fast slow
Chorus

Second Verse:

Speaking on top of my voice, I want to be heard, it’s my tolerance yeah, so let it be clear
My country got enough blessings, so let it be shared
The government man has lost his own lane let it be clear
I respect the territorial integrity of my nation
I think we got to do everything in collaboration
I feel the way we tolerate things in harsh condition
I think we have to get back together by integration
We’ve got millions suffering from pain without being harmed
Capability to suffer in chains without being charmed
Gidi is my land, my color green white green
Speak firm, so here we stand
Let us live in peace and harmony, let us live together like holy matrimony
So everyone, everyone should be equal, so carry on, carry on and play legal
Omo gidi ni mi, I ain’t do nothing yet
I will be gone for a second but I will be back in a bit….. in a bit….
Miss Boss ……I am hittin it
Chorus till fade
