Segun Aganga – Founder

Segun Aganga is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs London.  Prior to  joining Goldman, Segun was at Ernst & Young for 22 years where he established and led the European hedge fund practice.

Segun is currently the Chairman of the London Investment Banking Associations’s prime brokerage committee and the Alternative Investments Managers Association’s hedge fund committee and he sits on a number of  boards including Technoserve.

He is the founder of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative (NLI).

Dr. Christopher Kolade CON - Founding Patron/Chairman of the Advisory Board

Dr. Christopher Kolade, Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), is the Founding Patron and a Director of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative. He is presently a Lecturer in Corporate Governance and Human Resource Management at the Lagos Business School and a member of the governing council of the Pan-African University.

Dr. Kolade was the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (2002-2007).  He was also the Director-General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) as well as the Chief Executive, Executive Chairman and Chairman (non-executive) of Cadbury Nigeria Plc.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Fellow, Society of Nigerian Broadcasters, Fellow, Institute of Directors (Nigeria) and has held the Presidency of these and many other professional bodies to which he belonged.  He also sits on the Board of several organisations including the Christopher Kolade Foundation (CKF); Transparency in Nigeria and the Convention on Business Integrity.

Tumi Ajibola - Executive Director

Tumi Ajibola has over 3 years of experience in the International Development field;  Tumi has worked with the International Trade Center in Geneva, Switzerland analyzing market trends/flow of goods into West Africa. She has also worked with the Clinton Foundation in Abuja, Nigeria projecting and quantifying the foundation’s supply of HIV/AIDS antiretroviral drugs for Nigeria.

Tumi has a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from Union College. Prior to completing her Masters, she worked with the Congressional Budget Office in Washington, D.C.
