Hauwa Magoro studied her undergraduate degree in Pharmacology at the University of Portsmouth. She holds an MSc and a Diploma of Imperial College in Health Management from Imperial College Management School (UK).Hauwa is a member of the Association for Project Management, UK and a certified Prince2 Practitioner. She is a consultant with over 10 years of project and program management experience in financial services, health, IT, telecommunications, broadcasting and property development.She specializes in process and organizational governance as well as change management. Some of Hauwa's professional milestones include projects within the UK's National Health Service where she managed the implementation of the medical transcription services in over 20 hospitals and Primary Care Trusts. She was also part of the pioneering Olympic 2012 Virtual Visa Card Team.Hauwa currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Nigeria Leadership Initiative. She is also a Senior Adviser and Technical Lead on Health Innovation for the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria, an organization that aims to accelerate Nigeria's progress in meeting Millennium Development Goals 4, 5 and 6.In her spare time, Hauwa is an avid fridge magnet collector and is passionate about baking.
