Hauwa Yabani is the MD/CEO of Abuja Technology Village (ATV) FZ Co., the Master Developer responsible for facilitating the development of Nigeria’s premier Science & Technology Park (STP). Backed by its Special Economic Zone (SEZ) status, the STP is poised to provide a balanced lifestyle environment where its target tenant firms will operate with competitive advantage. The firms will have access to Africa’s largest consumer market, equidistant proximity to every part of Nigeria and easy access to key global destinations. It is located adjacent Nelson Mandela Institution’s African University of Science and Technology, Abuja Campus. Prior to her current position, Hauwa provided technical advisory/support services in areas such as Policy Formulation, Programmes Design and Implementation Management and, Entrepreneurship Development. She is a Director on the Boards of ATV Foundation and Abuja Enterprise Agency, a member of the International Board of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation, a Trustee of Outsourcing Development Initiative of Nigeria (ODIN) and Free Economic Zone Operators and Managers Association of Nigeria and a Founding Member of an Angel Network being established in Abuja, among other secondary engagements. Hauwa is an alumnus of the Universities of Reading, Warwick and the London School of Economics & Political Science, United Kingdom.
