The July 2008 Aspen Seminar on Leadership In an Era of Globalisation
NLI held a successful seminar on Leadership in the Era of Globalisation from July 14-18, 2008 at the Aspen Meadows, Colorado, USA. The seminar was moderated by Peter Reling and Stace Lindsay of the Aspen Institute and the participants were Fellows from the NLI 2006 & 2007 Senior Leaders class.
Some of the other activities included:
- A panel discussion on Nigeria moderated by Peter Reling. The panel was made up of Maryam Uwais, Fr. Kukah, Folusho Phillips and Segun Aganga. It was attended by the Aspen Community and televised on the local television;
- An off-site reception hosted by AJ and Sunny Scribante who presented each of the Fellows with a book on how to turn a $500 business to a $65million business.
